Here’s just a few of the projects donations have been a vital part of:

  • AKPA purchased a new ultrasound scanner for CDC at a cost of £5,460 and with the help of a generous donation of £3,686 from the Mildenhall Freemason’s Lodge we contributed £1,514 for ancillaries and training for a much needed ultrasound scanner for the West Suffolk Dialysis unit. We supported a Renal Peer Support training session at West Suffolk Hospital at a cost of £821.
  • We paid the final instalment of £16,860 towards the COBALT Fistula research trial, which will provide information about long term fistula problems.
  • We provided presents and Christmas cheer to patients needing to dialyse over the Christmas period at a cost of £635.
  • We continued funding phones for staff at a cost of £195 per month and providing welfare support to the increasing number of patients facing hardships in difficult times.
