The NKF Peer Support Service is a national, free service that connects patients, carers, and families with someone who has lived experience of kidney disease.
Whether you’re living with chronic kidney disease, on dialysis (including home therapies), living with a transplant, caring for someone with kidney disease, thinking about donating a kidney, or simply want to talk to someone who understands, this service is here for you.
We have a variety of trained peer supporters available, each with different experiences, so you can be matched with someone who relates to your situation. Peers can offer guidance, emotional support, helping you feel more informed, reassured, and less alone on your kidney journey.
